About this game

Fiction Paradox is a Ren'Py visual novel set in 2045, where the world keeps evolving faster than the protagonist's life can keep up with. Driven by imagination, you decide to chase the inventor's path, hoping to reshape humanity's future.

Naventu writes the 3DCG cast around deep bonds, shared experiences, and the kind of intimate desires the protagonist refuses to treat as obstacles. Content threads harem structure, lesbian routes, male-protagonist content, sci-fi worldbuilding, romance arcs, and a humour-first tone throughout.

The question driving the story stays bigger than any one relationship: can the protagonist illuminate the darkness around them, or get pulled under by it? The choices answer that one a few steps at a time.

Features:

Customizable protagonist: You can play as a man or as a woman. The story remains the same; only the main character changes.

Choice-based story: You can develop intimate relationships with all sorts of different characters, single or polyamorous depending on your choices.

Novel mode or game mode: Whether you just want to read or prefer moments that require skill and/or ingenuity, this game is for you.

Built-in walkthrough: No more interruptions to search for the right choices on the Internet or in a PDF; if you want a walkthrough, you can activate it anytime within the game.

v0.1.3

The main addition is a full French translation. The first draft was written by Lumen, and afterward I revised the spelling and expressions with help from other people. For Chapter 2, we'll be looking for a professional translator to handle everything, since neither Eón nor I speak French. Another new feature is the option to skip the Prologue after character selection and start directly from Chapter 1. I also took the opportunity to adjust some dialogue and sound effects, and clarified in the sexual orientation selection that we plan to include a bisexual route in the future (some players got the impression that this option wouldn't be supported). We've also refined the SFW mode. A few suggestive moments had slipped through, but now it is fully 100% SFW. This mode is primarily a long-term investment, in case we later decide to release a version of the game without +18 content that is suitable for all audiences. Finally, several bugs and dialogue typos have been fixed, and the last profile skins for Evan and Evelyn have been replaced with new renders made entirely in Blender.

This version brings two major additions that many of you have been asking for, along with a long list of fixes and improvements across the game. Chinese Translation Fiction Paradox is now fully playable in (Simplified) Mandarin Chinese! All proper names, terminology, and worldbuilding elements were carefully adapted, including images and videos. The translation was made by Dakno, the writer of the story, who (luckily) has been studying Chinese for a few years. He's not native though, so if you detect any improvements/fixes to do, please report them to him on Discord. We hope this makes the story of FP accessible to more players around the world. ^^ Android Version Version 0.1.2 also introduces an official Android build. So if you prefer playing on your phone or tablet, Fiction Paradox is now available for you as well. Fixes & Improvements In addition to the new language and platform, this update includes: Multiple bug fixes reported by the community. A few dialogue improvements. A few fixes and improvements in the Spanish translation. Small UI and UX refinements.
