About this game

New Beginnings in Japan is a Ren'Py visual novel about Kiara, a strong-willed young woman who has lost her memories to an unknown event everyone around her remembers. She moves to Japan to start fresh, and the player drives which version of herself she becomes. Shikharisfree writes the 3DCG story as a multi-protagonist arc threading lesbian routes, taboo-family beats, corruption descent, cheating dynamics, and interracial scenes. Big-ass character design, animated turns, oral, titfuck, vaginal, and sexual-harassment content scale with player choices. The central question stays open throughout the run: what kind of life Kiara builds with the past she does not remember, and whether the people around her are protecting her or hiding from her.

Kiara is the only MC, so the corruption bump lets you push her in a darker direction without forcing you through scenes you would rather skip. How does the romance system work?
See-saw: every time you flirt with one partner, the other partner's romance level drops. Intentional, to keep the story coherent and not a harem. What is the fondness system?
Same idea as romance but for the broader important cast. Some scenes are locked behind fondness levels. There are so many characters, who actually matters?
Only the ones listed in the in-game glossary / compendium are part of the main story. The others are NPCs that show up only when needed for corruption or NSFW events.
