About this game

The Fairy's Song is an Ebi-hime Ren'Py kinetic novel about Marnie, a young goth girl with a less-than-cheery disposition, palmed off to her grandmother in the English backwater village of Fenchapel while her parents take a week of sun and surf in Bordeaux. Fenchapel is a town of under 500 people, no shops, no cinemas, and a grandmother who keeps warning her about strange creatures in the forest. Marnie ignores her, predictably. 2DCG art carries the rural-gothic atmosphere across every scene. The story sits as a slow-burn lesbian fantasy with monster girl undercurrents, a romantic spine, and no sexual content on screen. Marnie's week in the sticks turns out to be exactly the trouble her grandmother kept hinting at, and the ending earns its quiet.
